On Thanksgiving, Morris takes Michael to his sister's house for the holiday, while Lisa and Heather enjoy their usual festive meal. Meanwhile, Roger heads to the museum to sort out the insurance for a valuable Russian artifact. Lacking an appraiser, he informs the curator that he can't assist until after the holiday, which isn’t acceptable. Suddenly, Roger finds himself handcuffed to a suitcase containing the artifact, tasked with its protection for the day. After leaving the museum, he visits Lisa and Heather, inadvertently bringing along two men intent on stealing the precious item.
