When a distressed hotel guest, portrayed by Jon Lovitz, threatens to end his life by jumping off the Montecito, Danny and Ed rush to intervene. In an attempt to save him, they introduce him to the excitement of gambling, hoping to shift his perspective. However, their plan takes an unexpected turn when he unexpectedly starts winning big. Meanwhile, Sam finds herself developing feelings for a client, but her hopes for romance are dashed when his fiancée, played by Paris Hilton, arrives in town. Additionally, Ed faces challenges from an overly enthusiastic security guard.
