Ted's body has vanished, while his wife and son are discovered beaten and tied up. During their inquiry, Horatio uncovers heroin in the son's room, revealing his hidden life as a drug dealer. Additionally, a home pregnancy test found in the bathroom indicates Ted's wife is expecting, but Alexx discovers that the child cannot be Ted's. As the investigation deepens, evidence emerges linking a supplier from Ted's surfboard company to a potential motive for the murder.
