Joanna embarks on an adventurous journey from the southern tip of the country to the stunning foothills of the Himalayas. In Madurai, she marvels at the breathtaking Meenakshi temple. Her travels bring her to the Western Ghats, where she reconnects with her old friend Robin Brown, who has devoted much of his life to exploring India on his cherished motorbike. After wandering through the vibrant jewellery markets of Hyderabad, Joanna delves into the vast Tollywood film studio complex, the largest in the world. Her remarkable expedition concludes in Sikkim, four hundred miles north of Calcutta, against the majestic backdrop of the Himalayas.
