Fran's Dress (S01E10)

Vint is gearing up for a bowling tournament and asks Mama to wash and press his shirt while having dinner ready ahead of time. Meanwhile, Fran needs Mama to iron the dress she plans to wear to her awards banquet. Ellen arrives to take Mama to her hair appointment, reminding her of the time constraint. In the rush, Mama accidentally burns a hole in Fran's dress. Determined to fix the situation, Mama and Ellen head to Neidermeyer’s to find an identical dress. After paying $55, Fran returns home early to try it on, only for Vint to discover that Mama not only forgot to prepare dinner but also neglected to iron his lucky yellow shirt. To make matters worse, the new dress isn’t even close to the original, prompting a furious outburst from Fran. This leads to a heated argument between her and Mama. Ultimately, Fran decides to wear a different dress altogether.
