Adams rescues Will Boker, a performer and magician, from drowning in a river and brings him to his cabin. Boker insists that he lost a bag containing his belongings during the incident, prompting Adams to go back to the river to search for it. He discovers the bag, which is filled with cash. Boker asserts that the money ended up in his hands by chance, but what is the actual story behind it?
