Smashing Desserts Elimination Challenge (S01E03)

Following Amaury's demonstration of crafting a chocolate piñata, the contestants (excluding Anna and Andy) were given a two-hour challenge to whip up a dessert meant to be smashed. One participant would be eliminated after this round. After tasting, Reynold's Snow White-themed apple dessert, Adriano's interactive egg treat, and Gareth's chocolate cake topped with a sugar dome were recognized as the standout three and secured their safety. Rhiann's piggy bank dessert failed to smash effectively and lacked some components, while Jess's creation was considered lackluster. Ultimately, the judges felt Jess’s flavor pairings warranted her safety, leading to Rhiann’s elimination as the first contestant.
