Simultaneously, Alex begins to harbor an unexpected crush on Max. The situation escalates when Dave starts seeing Angie, which infuriates Max and leads him to initiate a "code war." Meanwhile, Jane discovers that Brad has a "work wife," which motivates her to seek out her own "work husband" in response.
