The deceased's wife discloses that their son was abducted, and her husband was in the process of delivering a ransom of three million dollars in jewels. However, the investigation takes a shocking turn when it's revealed that the jewels are counterfeit. This revelation leads the team to a perilous jewelry store that holds vital clues, culminating in a heartbreaking moment when one of their own is killed in the line of duty.
