Pip and Pop invite Bear to join them at the Otter Pond for a game of catch, but Bear keeps getting sidetracked by other happenings around the Big Blue House. While Ojo and Treelo are playfully pretending to fly, Bear starts pondering about gravity and the concept of flight. However, when Ojo takes a tumble and injures herself while attempting to fly, Bear gently explains that neither bears nor children can actually soar, no matter their efforts. He also lends a hand to Tutter, helping him understand how to use gravity to get eggs into his mouse hole. In the Shadow segment, Shadow shares the tale of Humpty Dumpty.
