The Verdict (S01E05)

In Terlingua, Texas, a local man faces trial for the murder of a prominent community member. As the trial progresses, remaining evidence is brought forth, and attorneys deliver their closing statements before the jury begins its deliberations on whether to declare him innocent, guilty of murder, or guilty of manslaughter. When the jury reveals its decision, the outcome leaves some residents feeling unsettled, falling short of the resolution they had anticipated.
