Joy finds out that Eddie has been keeping his beloved meatball-sandwich spot a secret from her. This revelation leads her to understand that after so many years of marriage, they shouldn't hide things from one another anymore, as they know each other so well. At the same time, Steph’s remarks about her own straightforward marriage inspire Joy to suggest that she and Eddie create a new secret together, aiming to bring some excitement back into their relationship.
