Breaking Point (S02E15)

Title: Breaking Point Plot: In a desperate bid to save his son from execution, a father abducts Angel, Sam’s roommate. The son has been wrongfully convicted of murder during a robbery, but the father insists he was merely an innocent bystander. To rescue Angel, Sam teams up with the VCTF to dig into the case, initially finding little evidence to support the father's claims. After the father provides names of two possible suspects, Sam interrogates them and speaks with the imprisoned son. Her investigation, bolstered by forensic findings, reveals the son’s innocence in the murder but confirms his role as an accomplice in the robbery. Sam then faces the painful task of revealing the heartbreaking truth to the father.
