When Will's laptop goes missing, he encounters a friendly detective who becomes personally invested in his case and goes undercover to help him. Unbeknownst to Will, this detective is also secretly attending Jack's therapy group for gay individuals. Meanwhile, Grace finds herself once again tormented by her unstable neighbor Val, who starts her own competing design business and thrives by pilfering Grace's creative concepts.
