Columbia forensic psychiatrist Dr. Michael Stone employs his scale of evil to delve into the psychology and motivations behind these crimes. Are women less likely to kill than men, or does the perception of them as the gentler sex allow them to evade justice for their more brutal acts? Dorothea Puente poisoned elderly alcoholics in her care, while Judy Neelley kidnapped and tortured young women.
