Following his release from prison, infamous paedophile John Davies confesses to the abduction and murder of a child from 25 years ago. Doubting his intentions, the detectives decide to revisit the cold case in an unconventional effort to establish his innocence, delving into the circumstances surrounding the boy's disappearance during a protest with his activist parents. The episode features guest appearances from Adrian Schiller (Being Human) and Samantha Bond (Outnumbered).
