Unfinished Business (S07E09)
PJ delves into the mystery surrounding Maggie's murder and zeroes in on the bass guitarist of a newly reformed rock band. When the musician holds back crucial information, PJ escalates the situation by seeking a warrant to search for drugs. Although heroin is discovered, his efforts hit a snag when the band’s frontman, a once-famous rock star, claims responsibility for the drugs. Meanwhile, Jack develops a bond with the band’s spirited back-up singer, who is revealed to be the daughter of promoter Bryce McLeod. As PJ investigates Bryce, he uncovers ties to a secret drug trafficking case and a close friendship with Barry Craig, potentially linking everything together. Under PJ's scrutiny, Bryce shuts down the band, leading to tragic fallout for one member. When Jack saves the back-up singer from an overdose, she learns the truth about her father and decides to assist PJ.
