Ben ventures into the northern New South Wales wilderness to connect with Jimmy, an American photographer who has chosen a solitary life. Over their time together, Jimmy recounts his journey of coming out to loved ones and the profound impact of his late partner, Richard, which led them to seek a new beginning in nature. As Ben listens, he discovers the numerous hardships Jimmy has endured since relocating from the city to the Australian bush, including loss and devastating natural calamities.
