Thanks to Sakuta's support, Kaede manages to attend school at night and grows excited about the prospect of going during the day. However, the next day, the original Kaede's memories resurface, causing her to forget everything about the Kaede who had shared the last two years with Sakuta. Devastated by her absence, Sakuta finds himself engulfed in sorrow when an unexpected figure confronts him.
