A solitary physics professor discovers that the sun is on the verge of extinction, leaving him and all of humanity with mere hours to live. In this fleeting time, Stan decides to make up for years of missed opportunities. He pursues and proposes to Leslie, a woman he's known for two years but never taken a romantic interest in. Initially confused, Leslie becomes increasingly captivated by Stan until she learns the shocking reason behind his sudden affection. Adapted from a short story by renowned sci-fi author Larry Niven, this episode challenges its characters to confront both mortality and their personal aspirations, leading to unexpected outcomes.
