While attending a funeral for Reba's college boyfriend, Reba and Brock reminisce about the past but are soon burdened with guilt for how their relationship began, as Reba left her boyfriend for Brock. Meanwhile, at home, Barbra Jean grows anxious about Reba and Brock spending time together. Cheyenne and Van, given the responsibility of looking after Kyra and Jake, become overly assertive in their newfound authority. The episode concludes with Reba delivering a heartfelt performance, adding an emotional touch to the story.
