DI Mayne infiltrates a prison as an inmate to look into the questionable death of a prisoner who was waiting for the results of a murder appeal. As he delves deeper, he uncovers links between various inmates and the murder victim. Meanwhile, Janine becomes anxious when Michael gets taken into custody after being involved in a car accident.
