Scott discovers that he can retire thanks to the Secessus clause, but he needs to identify a suitable successor first. Caught between his desire to step down and his reluctance to leave the North Pole, he considers his children as potential candidates. However, he soon finds out that none of them are keen on taking over; instead, they're more curious about exploring life beyond their snowy home.
