A widowed mobster faces a custody battle for his son against his sister-in-law. To prove he's a good role model, he must persuade his son's teacher to change a failing grade to an "A." However, the teacher is resolute in her decision. In a desperate bid, the gangster resorts to offering an enticing bribe—a chorus girl—to sway her judgment.
