Syd envisions herself aboard The Titanic alongside John Hemming, leading her mother to speculate on the reasons behind Syd's struggles with men. As Syd delves deeper into John's past, she also assists Jamie Rohan, who has a fractured wrist, and discovers he’s been using Ritalin. Meanwhile, Robbie offers support to Andi during her court proceedings. Out for a night with Joanie, Syd spots John dancing with another woman, which unsettles her. She learns about Scott's tragic death and that his brother Jamie might have ADHD. In a panic, Syd rushes to find Jamie, who is rumored to have taken Scott's medication, while John opens up about his former fiancée, Cheryl.
