Before and After (S02E18)

Julia discovers she’s pregnant and is torn about the possibility of abortion. When Charlie finds her pregnancy test in the trash, they have a deep conversation. Julia contemplates what life with a baby would entail, while Charlie shares his own experience of a past girlfriend who went through an abortion, making her realize the sacrifices involved. This revelation causes tension between Julia and Justin, as he struggles with the situation but fails to grasp the weight it carries for her. Claudia learns the news and is left stunned. Meanwhile, Bailey and Sarah plan to take their relationship to the next level, but Sarah wants it to be a memorable experience, while Bailey prefers something more straightforward. Julia's situation shakes them both. She attempts to confide in Sarah, but Sarah reveals she wouldn't support an abortion. Tragically, Julia suffers a miscarriage. Later, Claudia expresses her regrets to Julia, who reassures Charlie of his supportive nature as a brother.
