Title: Crisis Plot: Sam finds himself in peril after being taken hostage by a fervent anti-nuclear scientist (guest star Robert Sampson) and a group of ruthless mercenaries. They seize a banquet hall filled with high-ranking officials from Washington, D.C., threatening to execute them unless their demands for a nuclear ban are met by the President. As Bailey and the task force launch an offensive, the terrorists manage to flee and are ultimately trapped in an airplane hangar. In a tense moment, Sam attempts to connect with the tortured scientist, searching for a shared understanding that could save them both. A Martinez and Julian McMahon also star.
