The group finds themselves in a strange new realm, though Kurogane and Fay have ended up in a different location. Syaoran, Sakura, and Mokona come across a troupe of female circus performers who revere Ashura, the goddess of war. Meanwhile, Kurogane and Fay are taken to a shrine dedicated to the rival deity, Yasha. As Sakura and Syaoran dig deeper, they uncover a surprising secret: the leader of the circus, Suzuran, and the shrine's priest, Souseki, are actually involved in a clandestine romance.
