Matlock is hesitant to bring on the wild rock star Angel when Charlene informs him that she’s already secured the gig for them. Angel stands accused of murdering her manager, and her alcohol-fueled blackout leaves her without an alibi for that fateful night. As Angel dismisses Matlock's advice to rein in her reckless behavior, his frustration grows. Fortunately, he manages to reach her just in time, helping her recognize the seriousness of the situation before her defiance leads to a murder conviction.
