He heads out of town, hoping to escape into a quiet life of fishing. But when a hitchhiker he’d picked up along the way turns up dead under suspicious circumstances, Matlock can’t just walk away. He stays put, drawn into unraveling the mystery behind the stranger’s sudden death.
