In "Protecting the Ego-System," Kitty invites Dharma to the groundbreaking event for her rival Teensy Manhart's new outdoor amphitheater. However, when Dharma discovers that the chosen location is a vital wetland, she defiantly jumps in front of the construction equipment to protest. The situation escalates as Abby, Larry, and renowned environmental activist Ed Begley, Jr. rally to support Dharma’s cause, joining her in standing against the project that threatens the delicate ecosystem.
