Lahela is inspired by the affection shared between an elderly patient and his young wife, sparking her dreams of a future with Walter. However, Noelani prompts Lahela to reconsider the sustainability of a relationship between a teenage doctor and a surfer/skater, pushing her to attend a poetry reading hosted by a college-bound volunteer.
