David and Elaine Lerner are found brutally murdered in their sleep, leaving DS Matt Devlin and DS Ronnie Brooks baffled. The couple was beloved by everyone, and there are no signs of any enemies or disputes. However, suspicion soon shifts to Camilla Mallon, the former owner of their home, who is tangled in a hedge fund scandal and might be a more plausible target.
