Five Days in the Death of Sgt. Brown (II) (S04E01)

In Los Angeles to testify against mobster Frank Harmon, Ed is unexpectedly shot and tumbles from his hotel balcony. Rushed to the Craig Institute, he undergoes emergency surgery; while the gunshot wounds are not fatal, Ed's fall results in a fractured back and spinal damage, leaving him paralyzed. His only hope for recovery lies in an experimental procedure. Despite overwhelming evidence against Harmon, Ironside remains skeptical about his involvement in the assassination attempt.
