Rivals On The Ropes (S01E02)

Robert Irvine and Jon Taffer ramp up their intense competition as they arrive in East Los Angeles, where two family-run restaurants positioned directly across from one another have been locked in a rivalry for ten years. The owners of Sage Restaurant and Spin Lounge are convinced their dishes and drinks are superior, yet they are oblivious to the numerous problems plaguing their establishments. As Jon and Robert investigate, they reveal a lack of effective leadership, poor-quality ingredients, and outdated decor that are preventing both restaurants from thriving.
