Meanwhile, Joannie finds herself smitten with the local drama critic who praised her performance. However, Tom believes the critic is insincere and attempts to sabotage their budding relationship. On a different note, David, who is currently out of work, resolves to start his own construction company, prompting the entire family to rally together and support him in this new venture.
