A man finds himself smitten with a woman who, unbeknownst to him, is actually a dolphin. At the same time, a studious teenage boy yearns to experience life among the popular kids, but his dreams of becoming a star football player lead to unexpected and troubling outcomes. In another storyline, Ariel's bad mood intensifies when she believes that everyone has forgotten her birthday.
