Martin survives the fall, and with the support of Evelyn and Andrea, he successfully dismantles the ultrasonic driller, halting the excavation towards the Earth's core. Using his device, Diego seals the fissure and pleads with his grandmother to spare his friends' memories. Pola concedes, but only wipes the memories of Pompilio and Claudio. The Verne family heads back home, aware that a sinister presence is still lurking nearby.
