With siblings Kathy and Josh along for the adventure, Josh plays a prank on Kathy, prompting her to storm off in frustration. Meanwhile, in the realm of the Dragonlord, scholar Meck has completed his latest creation—a trans-dimensional boat. Despite the Dragonlords' warnings, he activates it, hoping to travel to alternate worlds. Soon after, Kathy, still fuming over Josh, notices a strange light shimmering on the lake and approaches it, discovering Meck beside his unusual vessel. An unexpected incident sends both Meck and Kathy spiraling into an unfamiliar dimension—the world of the Spellbinder!
