William Alderman turns to theft to provide for his girlfriend and her young daughter. The family travels to Idaho, where they infiltrate vacation properties, using the little girl to assist in their schemes. When a robbery goes horribly wrong and results in a man's death, they flee the scene, only to be apprehended during a dramatic sting operation at a roadside motel.
