Roman Bedford, a young southern gentleman and the new drover, has found himself at odds with the foreman of the ranch from which they are collecting cattle. Tensions rise as Roman shows interest in the ranch owner's daughter, a fact that angers the foreman, who also has his sights set on her. Meanwhile, the ranch owner has been concealing his own past from his daughter, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.
