Following Bird Raymond's death, for which Helene is held responsible, the shipwreck survivor struggles to adapt to her new role as a pastor's wife. As she navigates the treacherous plots of the cunning Dorothy, things become even more complicated when Helene is also accused of contributing to Mother Mathilde's declining health.
