Becca, a passionate journalist for an underground publication, dives into investigating the past of the school janitor, Kominsky, exposing a minor crime he committed years ago—breaking into a home to steal money for his family. However, in her rush to report, she neglects to seek Kominsky’s perspective. When the scandal erupts, Becca reflects on her careless actions, influenced by her pretentious editor, who also asked her out. Realizing her mistake, she reaches out to Kominsky to apologize and issues a retraction in the official school newspaper. Eventually, Kominsky secures a new job at the Grill.
