Upon returning home from the hospital, Andie's father suggests she spend the remainder of the school year in Italy with her aunt, as she has enough credits for early graduation. Andie agrees and organizes a farewell dinner with her friends, emphasizing the significance of life and the folly of petty disputes among close friends. Jack and Jen reconcile, and Andie devises a clever scheme to unite Dawson and Pacey.
