Joey and Audrey hit up a nightclub to commemorate Joey’s academic success and the onset of fall break. There, Audrey encourages Joey to embrace the night and have some fun. Charlie also makes an appearance and flirts with Joey, but she rejects him due to his past behavior with Jen. Undeterred, Charlie challenges Joey to do something daring. Accepting the challenge, she takes the stage to perform with the band and, caught up in the moment, kisses Charlie. Meanwhile, Pacey joins Audrey at the club to celebrate his recent promotion. Back in Capeside, Dawson and Jen have their first argument about his future. Ultimately, Dawson resolves to move into Grams's attic in Boston and chart his own path.
