Jennifer Hill is convinced that her late husband Alec, an Immortal, is still present in spirit. She seeks out Alec's old friend MacLeod, pleading for him to help put her husband's spirit to rest by taking revenge on the one who killed Alec. Meanwhile, Richie feels an unexpected connection to the mourning widow, but his feelings take a dark turn when he discovers that he is the very person responsible for Alec Hill’s death.
