Undeterred, they enlist Joey to throw their own celebration. Meanwhile, Rachel faces a setback as Joanna undermines her chances for a promotion. In a different storyline, Monica steps in as a food critic for a local paper, forcing her to choose between a reliable head chef position at a restaurant she criticized or continuing her catering venture with Phoebe.
