Rachel inadvertently damages Joey's beloved armchair, affectionately named Rosita. While they venture out to find a replacement, they discover that Rosita has mysteriously repaired itself. Meanwhile, Phoebe starts a temporary gig as a telemarketer for an office supply business. When she receives a call from a distressed client contemplating suicide, she makes a heartfelt effort to support him. In another storyline, Ross and Monica learn that their parents have decided to sell their cherished childhood home.
