On August 16, 2010, AIRES Flight 8250 tragically crashed just before landing at San Andrés, Colombia, amidst severe storm conditions. The aircraft fragmented into three sections upon impact with the runway. Unfortunately, the incident resulted in the loss of two passengers' lives.
