Mitch reconnects with some former military buddies from an Army parachuting unit and decides to help one of them, skydiver Tracy McComb, reunite with her estranged father, a Naval officer who is facing a terminal illness. Meanwhile, Jessie develops a fascination with skydiving and convinces Mitch to join her for a jump. Their adventure takes an unexpected twist when they find themselves needing to rescue individuals from a boat wreck near Catalina.
